Caught this big bass Sunday on Lake Belton 5-25-08 using a Kistler Magnesium crankin rod throwing a firetiger Bomer Model 6A.
It weighed 7-08 on my scales and was released back to fight another day. Had 8 keepers with the best 5 that weighed over 17lbs. All in just 5 hours. It was a great day and everything clicked.
Thanks Trey for making a great rod! I felt every bite and landed every bass that hit.

Congrats on the nice toads!! Those MgCBCGGM70's really let those cranks have a lot of side to side action. With the soft tip they also keep the hook in place doubling or even tripling your catch ratio!

Lake Belton is a beautiful lake and there is no better place to yank on some hawgs, did you find any brown fish?
