Does anyone have any experience with this rod? I'm thinking of using it with for carolina rig. Does it have a soft enough tip detect very light bites?

I have been using this rod for the last three years for C rigs and for flipping plastics. It's a great rod and the balance and sensitivity of the rod is outstanding, plus you have a rod that works for flipping and Carolina rigs.

5/4/08 11:47pm Question about the HE711THC
Greg,
I thought long and hard about whether to get the He711THC, or the He2HC711T with the main purpose of flipping and C-rigs. Decided on the He2HC711T, and used it for the first time this weekend. Caught fish using a C-rig; was extremely impressed with the sensitivity and overall feel of this rod.
I use the LTA series most of the time, and you can't go wrong with any them, but if you want the "best of the best" try the He2HC711T. Either way, the additional length is the way to go for flipping and "rigs;" the fish was in the boat in no time!
