My daughter Briana who is also on Team Meeks Fishing and Synergy caught a 10.7 on Choke Canyon Lake 2 weeks ago. She was using a 6'6' LTA, MH with 15 # fluorcarbon and poca-craw. Needless to say she had a blast catching it and when she hooked the fish, the fish went crazy. While fighting the fish, the pole doubled over and still did not break. ONce again Kistler is reliable every time.
I caught the smaller fish 10.5 on Falcon Lake 1 one week ago in pre-fishing. I was using a LTX 7'0 MH with 15 # fluorocarbon and again a poca-craw. Flipping heavy, heavy cover with no worries.

I would say the Med-Hvy can be utilized for more types of fishing than the heavy rod. I use my med-hvy for buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, plastics, and some deep cranks. The heavy I use just for plastics, swimbaits, and frogs. If I could only have one it would be med-hvy.
