Was fortunate to win and also place 2nd in some local events here...11 jig bites and over 31 pounds thanks to the sensitivity and hooksetting power ...

Does anyone know how the HE76HC compares to the loomis GLX BCFR894 7'5" 1 piece flipping stick? I just sold the loomis and I'm planning on buying two 1 piece Kistlers. I'm thinking either two HE76HCs or maybe one of those and an extra heavy. I guess it depends on how the action of the rod is compared to the loomis. Any info would be appreciated.

I think you're gonna want the XHeavy... think of the He76HC as a 7'6" version of the MBR844C.

As a rule of thumb, the jig and worm series rods from Loomis feel like a step up in power from the MBR's because of the even faster tapers.
