Federation Big Bass on LTX

I weighed this one in for Big Bass at the BASS Federation tournament on Lake Conroe Saturday.

I was caught on my new Helium LTX Rod. I think I have a new favorite rod.

Man that is an awesome feeling to weigh in a bass like that during a big tournament. I hope you do that again soon. The shirt looks good also.

And it was a distinct thrill to be there to witness the weigh in. Derek was absolutely shaking when he took that beast to the scales. Waytogo Derek. All it took was that Kistler in your hands.

The right place and the right equipment makes all the difference. I know I can credit my LTA for two club level Angler of the Year victories. I used good equipment before but feeling just one or two more bites every tournament makes a huge difference.
