Ferrari, Don't worry about it my friend. No harm done. I love honestly on our forum. So here's my honest reply.

Many rods makers have watched our popularity grow increasingly fast over the last few years because of our innovative features brought direct to the everyday angler. Such as the "No Foregrip" design, "split grip" handle advantage and our exclusive "hook hanger". Now if you will look around, there are about 20 identical or close copies to what we made popular. I would have to say thanks for flattering us by copying us to all those companies. Also, I wished they would try to come up with something on their own instead of copying others. That might be wishful thinking.

Readers, please feel free to pass this along to your ( - - blocked - - ). Know that we are respectfully making these facts known to the public in order to set the record straight. Either way, the anglers are the winners here because of all the choices now where they didn't have before.

Whatch out for our latest innovations to hit the stores in 09. Hopefully, we can again have something to offer anglers before yet again we are copied. I'll do my best to keep pushing the envelope to help move technology further into the future faster and faster so that anglers can enjoy their sport even more.

Thank you,

kebragg

Tag,
I just purchased my 1st Kistler a couple of weeks ago and i like the feel much better than any rod i have used including All-Star and Team Diawa but I like them for a couple of other reasons and the most important is they are American made and with the economy the way it is ,we need to really start looking for Quality products made in America.Think of the families right here in the U.S.A. that are employed because of those who buy Kistler Rods.
Kistler customer service is second to none(Where else can you call and speak to someone who will actually be involved in building your rod if you have a question).

x TAG> i won't never use casting tackle to cast a 4 inch creme worm...to me is like flying to the moon with a kite!!! i strongly recommend you the HE269MS rod....you can ACTUALLY feel everything on the bottom and easily detect when a bass engulf the bait.....then you have a good 6'9" lenght which offer good hooksets and power to work that fish out

X FERRARI5> mr president just explained what are kistler rods own "innovations", i just want to tell you that STEEZ are simply AWESOME, but KISTLER LTX offer unmatched sensitivity which also STEEZ cannot perform....it is very simple, JUST TRY ONE and you will tell yourself. then the special handle that LTX have transmits even more vibrations than the blank itself, vibs got amplified by it, just try and you will be overwhelmed.

p.s. i am in italy and JAPANESE tackle here is BY FAR more popular than american tackle, well some "megabasser fan" just changed their mind...

I beg to differ, both of my Magnesiums are "Made in China". It says so on the sticker, on the cork base, as well as my Graphite Plus. Laughing

That would be a sweet trip! I'd love to get my hands on a He LTA, and then maybe go fish one of those great Texas lakes nearby.

Maybe next year's family vacation... Laughing

My friend, I think throwing that light a bait with a bait caster is a serious hassle. Distance, wind, etc. What are you using for line, 6, 8 or 10lb? My question is why dont you use a spinning outfit to chuck what probably weighs under a 1/16th. Pros would rarely even try what you are doing. I could be a dumb dumb and not now what Im talking about but I would use a high end, very light Daiwa spinning reel with Kistlers Magnesium or Helium Med or med/Light Spinning rods. If you are seriously against spinning rods you are missing out on some fantastic tools for your application. Gary
