Finally here! Living in Southern California, fishing many deep clear reservoirs, I do a lot of finesse fishing including getting those finicky bass to bite the drop shot. For drop shotting, in my opinion there is no better rod on the planet than the He2M69S. It’s a great rod, but I always wished the folks at Kistler would come out with a seven-foot version of this rod. Same action, but a little more length needed for tossing shaky heads, and the Southern California favorite, the little underspin. Now, we have it!!! The He2M70S is the perfect seven-foot finesse rod. I call mine the “Underspin Special”. Kistler got this one right, big time! Thanks for finally putting this rod on the market.

I also noticed that finesse seems to be the way to go now days- I have made more money with a kistler spinning rod than I would have ever imagined. I have so much confidence with them it's almost like I know I can get a decent limit with the small sticks.

Tony, you are right about that! I have used the He2M69S for a while now and its the best dropshot/ splitshot rod hands down. I too had been waiting for the 7' He2 for shaky heads and underspins and it was worth the wait. I was using the MG 7' M and Loved it as well. Thanks Kislter for building a great rod especially for us west coast finnese fisherman!
