I am a dedicated(for the most part ) Helium LTA owner. I bought my first one after reading a review of it on Tackle Tour last summer. I fished with it on a Sunday and caught 8 Bass using a Vision Honeybuzz buzzbait. Here is a [-- login to view link --] pic of one of them and my rod. I loved using it so much that on the following day, I ordered my second one. I now have three 7 footers and use them for all but pitchin' and Carolina-riggin'.

Hey Dan you sure get around lol. just letting you know how much I am enjoying my LTA
a bro asked me to go try a lake 2 hours north of me with him,It was stained more then I am used to and a lot of BIG boats I gave him the front seat and I figured I would try some of my favorites senko's second cast not only did I feel the fish pick up my worm I could see the rod tip twitch.
Well my first 4 1/2 lb in a long while and 5 more just like him and 7-1+ lber dinks later and my buddy only gettin one 10 in. crappie he had enough
The best part was I felt every one pick up my worm. I just wanted to thank you again for leading me to Kistler rods

hass: Thanks for the reply. I really get excited when I find or stumble upon a quality product, whether it be tackle or baits. You can just feel the 'quality' ooze out of the rod just picking it up, much less casting/fishing with it.

Dan,
Which models do you have? I use the 6'10", the 7' MH (3), and the 7'6" flipping stick...in the Helium models...
A friend of mine uses the 7' M for use with Senkos but I still use the Senko Special rod...

Larry: I have 3 seven footers, all Medium Casting. I use them primarily for topwater baits(including buzzbaits), hard and soft jerkbaits, and crankbaits. They are 'soft' enough so as not to snatch the bait away or rip the hooks out.
I use three Fenwick Techna AVs for pitching and T and C-rigging. I use a 5.5' BPS Extreme for spinnerbaits and a two-piece, locally made heavy stick for throwing big swimbaits.
Is the "flipping" rod as light as the other LTA's?

The flipping rod feels light when I pick up the rod. I have not had the opportunity to try it out yet in the boat...When I do, I will let you know.
