Hello, I'm looking to get a Helium LTA for deep diving cranks up to 3/4 ounce. I was thinking of the 7'0 Medium Heavy. Any thoughts on a Helium LTA for deep diving cranks?

A lot of guys use the one piece med 7'6" LTA for big cranks. Check some of the older post. I plan to buy one in the near future for the summer crank'in bite. Good Luck.

Up until recently I used my LTA's for crankin', that is until I got my hands on the 7'0" magnesium crankbait rod. This is the best crankbait rod I have ever used. It casts a mile, has just the right action and the feel is out of this world. You won't be disappointed.

I would stick with at least a MH for the deep diving cranks. Alton Jones uses our He76MHC model for big lipped cranks.
Have fun,

I also use the 7'6 medium heavy for my heavy cranks
