Hey Clifford, how about a hint? Where did you go on your trip? Even better, how about we guess the specie of fish and weight, and the person closest without going over gets a brand new Helium

Hey SD, after going to that link I am ready to go catch a nile perch. I don't know if it would be safe there right now. Guys I still haven't the got the picture yet but it did weigh over a 100lbs. Hopefully it is coming soon.

Tarpon is a good guess in these parts though I'm going to venture and guess grouper. If it's a grouper, a little Photoshop recolorization may make it look like a 100lb largemouth!

You are correct. I caught a 140lb tarpon with the Helium 7'6" extra heavy telescopic with a calcutta 400 on 30lb test. The fish was caught in 100' of water at the mouth of the Mississippi River. It took 1 1/2 hours of hard straining to get it in. The fish fought so hard that the line was touching the blank between the first eye and the reel seat because of the rod bending so bad. I was at the mercy of the fish. I will use heavier tackle next time. It just shows that you can do it with a helium. I can't wait to get pictures back to post
