It was won by an angler named Andy Gaia. Is this the same Andy that posts on these forums? If so, congrats!!!! The story I read mentioned that Gaia is sponsored by Kistler.

I wish and thanks for asking but this Andy ( - - blocked - - ) in 56 or 57. Andy that won lives about 20 miles from here and was on them good. The cold front messed my fish up. I let one around 7 or 8 pounds get off at the boat that would have put me in the top 10 or so, but to answer your question, it wasn't me but I wish it had of been!!!

Andy, that's still a good showing! Way to go. I can't imagine battling all that boat traffic. Sam can be tough this time of year. Losing one at the boat hurts bad. That's like rubbing salt in the wound.
