I already have a LTA70MLC for working jig heads but I need a rod for working topwaters. Which LTA will be the best for working walk the dog type baits (like spook jr's and skitter walks) that weigh about 1/2-5/8oz?
Thanks in advance for the help,
Jeremy

The rod that is most commonly used for topwaters is the He66MC.
It has a nice and soft medium top with a quick backbone for strong casts. You will not wear yourself out working the lure with this rod.
Have fun!

I almost second Trey's suggestion, and that is the rod I would use if it wasn't for the He2MC66. I think that is the greatest topwater/jerkbait rod going!!! If it wasn't for that rod, the HE66MC would be my choice! Sorry, I know you only asked about the LTA..........
