He76MHC minus 1-1/2", opinion

OK, I bought one of those reconditioned rods on Ebay. First time I did this. It's an He76MHC minus 1-1/2" off tip. Hoping it'll make it a good pitching rod for soemwhat heavier cover. I own a few of the He70MHC's and love'em! I pitch with them all the time, with light stuff. Again, hoping the 1-1/2" off the tip will make it equivalent to a heavy power Helium.

well, I took another 2-1/2" off of her, and she makes a great heavy cover pitching rod! it's now a 7'2" pitching machine!
