Rods

I was told something, that I am not sure whether to believe or not. Trey please tell me it ain't so. I was under the impression that your rods where Made in the USA, not assembled in the USA. On the rod blank is states "Handcrafted in the USA" , is this a play on words. The fact that I thought these rods were made in the US, was the main reason why I have purchased approximately 15 of them. Now i am told that the rods are not made in the USA, but are manufactured somewhere else. Trey please clarify. Thank you for your time. To me, just having a good product is not enough. I was to understand that by being made in the US, you were supporting Americans and American jobs.

My friend,

We do make our Helium rods here in Magnolia. We do have our Graphite Plus and Magnesium rods crafted at our factory in China. We support American jobs here for people who want to work and we support Chinese jobs for people who desperately NEED jobs in China. We are all children of one God the Father and we all deserve a opportunity to work and survive in this tough world.

I will not go more in depth as to the many other reasons, but I will say that I prayed about this decision for years and I have complete peace about it.

I respect your opinion on only purchasing American make products. I wish this were possible for everything you and I purchase everyday, but it is not reality.

I hope this explains a little as to why some of our rods are not built here in Magnolia.

I thank you for your response, you are the only manufacturer that would take the time to answer a web forum. I respect your decision. I realize that we can not purchase everything American. I also have no problem buying something made outside the US. Only with the pretence that it is made in the US and come to find out that it is not. That in itself kind of upset me.

I also realize that Kistler is not the only manufacturer to do business in this fashion, I am not that naive.
