Moderat fast action

Curious as to what was behind the decision to make the LE's in a moderate fast action. Was it primarily to make it better for reaction baits or are more anglers moving toward some bend in their rods for bottom bouncing applications too?

There was no decision across the board. We designed each blank for the typical applications that model would be used for. Ex. 5H blank is mostly used for heavy cover, therefore performs better with a stiffer "mod-fast" tip. Ex 2. 2M and 3MH blanks are mostly used with lighter lures in less cover making a fast tip better performing. Watch out for new blanks coming with 1/2 powers using even different actions designed for all sorts of applications. Hope this helps answer your question, thanks.
