New to the forum and I have a question on rod choice

Postby REB1136 » 4/3/09 12:13pm

Hi everyone,

I would like to know what spinning rod would best fit my needs. I do alot of inshore saltwater fishing, so I use spoons, soft plastics with and without jig heads, live baits with popping corks and without, top water poppers and walk the dog style baits, lipless cranks, etc.

Now if I could only have one rod which one would you recommend and if I could have two which ones would be best? Could you also explain why so hopefully I can have a better understanding of why a certain rod action and power is better for some types of lures. Thanks for any information that is giving.

These are three rods that would do the trick very well. All you need is a strong medium powered rod for chunking the baits mentioned and the action on all three of these models would perform great under most all fishing applications.

Have fun!
