Good live bait rod for Snook?

Postby fishEguy » 8/23/06 11:25pm

Hi guys,
My first post on this forum and I'm hoping someone can help. I am looking for a rod that has a soft tip for casting small/med sized pilchards/greenies/pins etc., yet has a very strong butt to horse med/large snook from mangroves and docks. Would the snook special rods fit this, or are the actions/stiffness more like the Heliums? I really like my other Kistler rods so far and am looking to expand my arsenal of them.

Thanks for any help and God bless!

Michael

Figured I throw up this pic of a decent fish caught on a HE66MHS (laying on the floor closest to me).
