i am wanting a new jig rod and was wondering which He2 would have the action i am looking for. i want an Extra Fast action like the..hate to say it.....Loomis Jig and Worm rods. i will only be using it for jigs (no heavier than 3/4 oz). the new He2s look awesome and i cant wait to be holding one...thanks

I would personally go with one of the He2HC70 models. It might not have the same exact action as the Loomis, but I sure love the way it feels with jigs.

Hope this helps,

Trey,

I have a Helium LTA 7' H, how would the LTX compare action wise to this rod? thanks

got a He2HC70 the other day and put a Shimano Metanium XT on it. this is now my favorite combo and it almost makes my LTAs seem obsolete, almost. anyways, all you LTA owners, you'd be doing yourself a favor by picking up an LTX. 8)
