The rod made the Spro frog and all my favorite top water walkers come alive. I even managed to catch a couple of nice fish on a Texas rig. (trust me, this is a profound compliment to this stick
Now, I'm not a rich man by any means but I found myself back in C's 10 days (and 2 new personal best lmb) later, looking for the matching spinning rod for wacky rigs.
That plan was instantly derailed when I stumbled across a speck n red 7'6" ml that was marked down from 139.99 to 69.99!!!! I don't know why, I didn't ask, I don't care, I litterally ran to the cashier before they caught the mistake
SOLD baby yeah.
I mounted my Sedonna 4k on it and suddenly this reel, which had always seemed heavy, ( - - blocked - - ) perfectly balanced and I landed this red fish on 15# test (gulp 2"peeler crab np weightless) on my first trip with it.
However, I still wanted something for wacky rigs and wound up with the 6'6" mh fast tip graphite spinner. I mounted my Quantum PT on it and went out the next day and placed 2nd (11.5" short) in my first ever bass tournament on a rough day when only 2 anglers turned in the 3 fish limit.
Three rods, 2 new personal best bass, 2nd place in my first ever tournament, and a 28" redfish during my first 15 days as a Kistler customer has ruined me for life.
