Fishing Rods

Skunked out at the swamp pond yesterday so I went down to my boss's pond(s) today. Hot--95 degrees when I left at 1 PM, almost no clouds, sunny with little wind.

Started out walking the bank at the smaller pond and caught several 1/2 to 2 lbers off a Senko and a topwater Vixen.

Drove over to the bigger pond and as usual, I threw from the bank before putting the boat in. First cast, just out from the dam, got me a 4 lber on the topwater Vixen. Put the boat in and caught several dinks off of the Senko and a 4" Bass on the 4" Vixen.

Went home early due to the heat.
