Trey, I like it. I think maybe a little more positive advertising. How about, "Catching Fish Has Never Felt So Good!" The first one works fine, just thinking out loud. 8)

Re: Kistler's New Slogan

What do you think? Let us know your honest opinion please.

Thanks,

Trey

I like short slogans and mottos. Working for IBM, we have hundreds like the famous "Think". That single word has deep meaning to my company.

I suspect the proposed slogan relates to the sensitivity of the rods. I just wish "Feel the bite" had been Kistler's slogan instead of Rogue Rod's because a short one like that would've been excellent.

With that in mind, I think this slogan is close yet I hope there are still more slogans we can eventually get to review before the final nod is given. I realize this is not necessarily a democratic vote and that you have the final word but to give an honest opinion, I'ld rather see more than one slogan.

Some simple examples of non-wordy slogans I kind of like:

"Get Bait; Get Bit" -- WaveWorms
"More Human than Human" -- Tyrell Corp (yeah, I know fictional Blade Runner reference but I like it)

Maybe you can have multiple slogans. Something like "Fish Smarter, Not Harder" would have been great for the Smart Touch reel seat slogan.

So, in closing I think the proposed slogan is in the right vein yet I'ld like to see others proposed slogans, too.

We have recieved a bunch of slogan entries and not to many logo entries. We were very busy last week and did not get to go through them. We will go through all of them before we make a final decision. On the logo we are looking something that stands out. It does not have to have the name with the logo but more less like a cool image that is like no other.
Good Luck!
