Trey,
I was just wondering if you guys had any prospects for new dealers up here in minnesota? Bassman Lures was awesome, but after making the 2hr drive up to see Rory last weekend I sadly discovered that he was no longer in business. The service there was great and it was really nice to be able to pick up a rod and play with it before buying , $250 is a lot of cash for a 23yr old to throw down for a rod I've never seen or held. Yesterday I did however order a Mag crankbait rod and a custom 7'6" LTA sight un seen because I trust the quality of your rods based on rods I've seen and own. I could go to one of the Cabelas stores that cary Kistlers ,but quite frankly ,they don't have crap for selection. Last time I was there they had one casting and one spinning model, not a lot to choose from. But like I said, I trust the Kistler name and will continue to buy and fish your rods. I just would really like to look at a few more before I buy my next couple this summer. I know Mn isn't always seen as a big bass fishing state, but we're here and we're here strong.
I would really like to see Kistler become established up north, I don't know more than 2 or 3 guys up here on any of the tours fishing Kistlers, It's all Loomis and in my opinion, you guys blow them out of the water. And with Bass Pro rumored to be bulding a store next to Mall of America the XPS rods are really going to be every where. Not to mention Setyr Rods is making a big push looking for pro staffers on the Silverado Cup series and offering serious discounts. I only mention Setyr because they are as close to looking like Kistlers as I've ever seen, in fact, I always thought Lefebre fished Kistlers until I looked at a Setyr catalog and realized he fished for them. The rods just look so much alike. Split grips like a Mag, no fore grip, they are even using Baton components.
But, yeah. Not to yap on about nothing all night, but I just would really like to see a good Kistler dealer up here and show people some real rods!!!
