The KCBCM66 is a Composite Glass/Graphite rod while the KCBS66 is a Graphite rod.

Would there be a big difference in the two rods? What would it be? Is one better that much better than the other?

I have the crankbait composite and I think you'll find that the graphite will be slightly stiffer at the tip compared to the glass tip found on the composite. I'm a huge old school glass kinda guy and I use my stick for vibration baits like a LC LV-7 and does a very good job. Not light by any means at 4.4oz but not a ( - - blocked - - ) either.

If you can fork the extra cash try the Mag TS composite rod, most likely lighter and more comfortable to fish with.

Guys,

thanks for the input. Here are some facts you need to know:

1. The original KCBCM7 is discontinued.

2. The KCBS7 has been softened up a bit and fishes like a composite now. It is available.

3. The MgCBCGGM70 is out of stock until April. Our first 100 rods we ran out of 6 weeks early because of demand. It is a little softer on the tip than the graphite KCBS7.

I hope this info helps a little.

Thanks again,

Trey

I say put a order in now for the Mag TS composite. I've seen the Mag TS series line at my local fishing show and was very impressed.

Trey, is the Mag TS lighter than the graphite sereies? I would assume yes. Congrats on the new lineup.
