Shorter rods for us short guys...

Postby Bass Ackwards » 1/29/06 10:05pm

I was wondering if Kistler made or would make a MH fast action rod in a 6' or possibly 5'6" length. I throw a lot of jerkbaits and being short, I hate either hitting the rod on the side of the boat, or hitting the water when I jerk the rod straight down. Just wondering if everyone out there was like 6' 2" and bigger.

Guess What?

We just built up some custom Helium 5' 6" MH pistol grip rods. If you want a 5" straight inch handle, we can put that on the rod as well.

Also, we can build anything your imagination can dream up. Just let us know and show us the money and we'll get it done in no time at all. Well, we are kinda swamped right now so it may take 6 weeks to get a custom rod.

The He56MHCPistol is ready when you are. Let us know,

Thanks Trey, I am looking for a 6' rod for jerkaits specifically. Something light, and a split grip would e a plus as well... Tell me you can make it, and show me the price, and I just might "Show you the money!!!"

OK, here goes...

If a guy likes a 6'6" rod, then he should choose one of our Medium powered rods for treble hooked baits. This type of rod will both cast the bait better and keep the hooks in the fishes mouth better.

For the 6 footer, we do have a Helium 6' Med rod in stock with the solid cork handle. For only $25.00 we can remove the mid secion of the handle and make it a split grip for anyone.

Hope this helps a bit,

Trey

Awesome Trey, I will be ordering one very soon. As a matter of fact, as soon as I decide on which rod to buy for pitching and flipping, I will place my order.

Thanks again,
Bill
