Fishing Rods

I bought this rod last year and I am not sure for the intended use. It is suppose to be the football jig baitcast rod but the tip feels a bit soft for a MH rod. It to me feel like a good rod for Senkos or crankbaits or topwater than a football jig rod.

Can I please get a better idea for the intended purpose of this rod, I really believe it's not a football rod that Alton Jones would use...just not stiff enough.

You are incorrect. Alton and Scott Martin both prefer MH 7' rods for the average football head jig. I myself believe you want a good fast tip for better feel and hook ups. Try it and let me know what you think. A stiffer rod will lose the feel and you'll not catch as many fish period.
