Fishing Rods

I saw a prior post indicating this is an all purpose rod like the old LTA 6'9APC. Sounds really neat. What I don't understand is the lure rating up to 1oz which would make me think this is a strong MH or H power rod. The old LTA 6'9APC was more like a light MH rod to me.

Can I get some insight on the power and weight of this rod?? With a splilt grip and Micro's it should be a super light stick.

Would also appreciate any on the water insight from anyone who has fished one.

Don't let the lure wt mislead you. Because we have reduced the guide/tip weight by 5/16 ounce with the Fuji Micro guides over conventional, this is why you now can use heavier lures. The rod weight is nothing and extremely nice to fish with as it feels lighter than all the Helium models currently. ( - - blocked - - ), I said it. Get one and tell me if I'm wrong.

Thank You! I never thought about lighter guides increasing casting weight. I guess I somewhat mistakenly equate lure ratings to power of the rod and tip flex in the retrieve. This rod will be on my short list of rods to consider for sure.
