Question about rod weight

Postby shift808 » 3/14/10 3:34pm

Hello everyone.

New member, but a long time Kistler user. I have found a 7' Heavy Jig N Toad Mg JTH70 at my local Gander Moutain. It seems as this is a past model, and not the 2010 as it doesn't have the technique's listed on the blank between the split grip. In addition the lure weight is 1/4-1 1/2 oz, LW 15-30 lbt

My question is; what is the weight of this particular rod, and is the difference between this rod, and the 2010 models that much different?

Thanks in advance.

The new 2010 model weights in at a mere 5 1/4 ounce! Pretty good considering the super strong 24/30 mixed carbon material we use to keep the rod light and super strong. There are many small variations between the two year models but both are fine rods.
