Building my rod arsenal

Postby carterwagon » 3/5/10 4:21pm

I would call myself a novice bass angler. I am starting to get more serious about it and am getting some better equipment. So far I have a 6'6 medium action casting rod in the 250.00 range that I use for light texas rigs and shaky head. Last yr i added a Helium LTA. 7' MH that I use for most everything. I absolutely love the Helium. I am starting now to learn to use lipless crankbaits in grass at Lake Guntersville. What Rod should i get for this technique?

That HE70MHC is perfect for ripping traps from grass. Use a non stretch line for best performance.
