Fishing Rods

I was wondering how to tell what year lta I bought? I purchased the rod from simmons. It is a 6'9" heavy casting. It is supposed to be a 2009. My blank is dark grey (graphite colored) with marbled cork and rubber(I beleive) split grip. Also there is no american flag near the butt. There is a number above the hook hanger which is QI41900. I thought 2009 blanks were bluish in color? What if anything can you tell me about my rod? If my rod is not a 2009 then what are the differences and which guides do I have? Also, what years were the intell a matrix and dura matrix blanks used, do I have one? Love the rods by the way, I also bought a 7'3" carbon steel heavy and already own an older 7'heavy lta.

You LTA is definitely a 2009 made crafted here in Texas. The guides are SIC Fuji stainless frame. Great rod! IntelaMatrix blank 30 ton IM graphite. Enjoy!

are the 2010 lta's 30 ton IM graphite?

yes, they are the same graphite material but the 2010 models have a lighter feel due to the changing of the patterns slightly.

cool i have a 2010 6'9" mh fast casting lta. and im trying to figure out how much it weighs. could you help me out with that? and i saw your day on the water with the tackle tour guys. your son is quite the angler. i have a 6 month old and cant wait to take him fishing. i also cant wait to get a zbone those things look amazing!
