I have to give props to the Kistler service department. I returned a broken rod on Friday and got a new one on Wednesday. That's pretty awesome and ...

Looking forward to using my new Z-bone for a week on Falcon

Postby bassinbilly » 2/3/10 2:29pm

I will be fishing with my dad and brother for our annual Dad and Lads trip. I am now armed with a new LE 7ft Heavy Zbone and 6 other Kistler rods including 3 LTX II's. I think the Tompkins trophy will be on a mantle in Kingwood Tx at the end of the week. I Just had to post I feel like a little kid getting ready to ride his new bike Santa just left behind. :D

I will watch for you next weekend as we'll be testing Z bones too at Falcon. Have fun and good luck Billy!

Testing Z Bones on Falcon lake, now that sounds like a lot of hard work Trey. Sounds like I may need to drive 16 hours to help you guys out, huh. Good luck and have fun. I will be testing my Z bone next weekend on the very high and muddy Mobile/Tensaw Delta.

Man I wish I could be with you guys. Our lakes have 10-12 inches of ice and the region just got through a major snow storm.

Keep us updated. I can at least dream from your experiences :D

not sure how to post pics so i will show you the best fish

Best fish was this 9.76 caught by my brother, he landed another 9.20. My best was a 6.62  All fish are back in the water growing up ready to drop some eggs. Didn't get to use my Zbone as much as I wanted to because of the conditions. I think I need a Zbone for soft plastics
