Ultimate Crankbait Rod

Postby Bradbass » 9/19/05 3:00pm

I am interested in getting a new crankbait rod, and I was wondering what you consider the ultimate Kistler Crankbait rod? I will mostly be throwing speedtraps and medium sized crakbaits, nothing more than 3/4 oz.

Thanks,
Brad

Kistler Helium 7' Medium is the greatest crankbait rod hands down..I use it for all of my treble hook baits and I love it :D

I third that. I love the He70MC for 3/8oz and 1/2oz crankbaits. I lean towards the He70MLC for the smaller crankbaits in the 1/4oz or less though.

Hey guys what about the crankbait composite! I do not own a Kistler rod, just yet! But I have been looking at the new MG crankbait compostie, or the Kcbc, for the money would these not make a good crankbait rod! I understand they would not make the ultimate crankbait rod being that they are not Heliums! Any of you guys own a composite, how do you like them!

I used the Cranbait composites all this past season for both my crankbait fishing and my top water fishing, I personally don't think you can go wrong for the price. I think you'll be happy with any Kistler rod that you purchase, they're simply a great investment.
