Z Bone LE on Lake Shasta, CA FLW Western Series

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats what I have to say about the New Kistler Z-BONE LE MH 7ft rod.

I am Blessed to have the privlege of being one of the few to have fished and caught fish on the Z-bone rod, and do it in the FLW National Guard Western Series at Lake Shasta California. The Rod is amazing and while I did'nt knock em dead at the tournament, I was able to make a come back on the last day and catch two very decent size Spotted Bass on the Z-bone to fill out my limit. Those two spots one at 3 pounds and the other at 2 pounds brought me up 20 places and landed me in 69th. And while 69th is nothing to brag about, being able to come up 20 places and beat 1/2 the field, and it will also help me in the year end standings.

My set up for the Z-Bone was with a Team Daiwa Limited Edition Zillion with 10 lb Flourocarbon teamed with a 3/4 oz football head jig. I could feel every bump, rock, weed, and drop off with deadly accuracy, and that helped me put those great Shasta Spots in the boat. The casting distance, accuracy, lack of drag on the line, No Backlashes and amazing feel and sensitivity should be experienced by everyone. If you want the most amazing rod made out there today get a Z-Bone. Thanks to Trey for making the Greatest Rods on the market and to Lance for getting them to me before my tournament. God Bless and Tight Lines

Z-Bone sensitivity

Postby rsburns » 1/22/10 1:06am

Way to go Rob! The sensitivity of the Z-Bone is truly amazing. I was absolutely blown away with the fact that I could feel very light bites in terrible weather conditions.... I'll always love my LTA's and LTX's, but will be ordering a few more of these new Z-Bones ASAP!

Keep up the Good Work!

Z-Bone's

Postby NoCompetition » 1/22/10 2:05pm

Thank you Scott,
Just like you I love all my Kistler's and I would never give them up. I still have a few Mark Tyler signature series and a Spinner Bait Special with a foregrip that I still use. It's awsome to see the progression of Trey Kistlers evolution of the fishing rod and see how the rod market has copied Kistler's innovation.

As far as the Z-Bone's go, it is an amazing rod for many reason's and the feel is unlike any rod I have ever held. I have shown the Z-Bone's off at the local tackle shops and at some Bass Club meetings and people are amazed. As a matter of fact one of the Owners of RoboWorm was able to cast my Z-Bone LE at J & T Tackle here in Simi Valley and he too was blown away and really liked the rod. Trey is really on to something here and it is really cool to have the future of fishing in your hands today.
