ideal 'creature' rod

A friend has given me a few packs of iguana's, made by Strike King. I intend to work these ten inch plastics near bass beds during pre spawn. Using them weightless, with a #5 hook. What is an ideal rod for this type of fishing? Action? length? power? Thanks in advance.

IMO, go with a longer rod such as a 7'6" heavy power such as the HE76HC or the MGADPT78T.
