Fishing Rods

I received an email offer from Kistler to have my guides replaced with the new micro guides. I did a little research and decided to go ahead and take Kistler up on the offer.

I received my rod back last Tuesday and got a chance to try it out yesterday and the performance exceeding my expectations. I was able to cast further and with much better accuracy. I was fishing with a shimano calais reel with 40 lb power pro braided line and casting a war eagle jig with a zoom super chunk. One of the unexpected benefits was I never got any loose line the whole time I was fishing. I never had to pull out any loose line. I am sold on the micro guides and will not buy another rod without them.

I caught six bass in about 2 1/2 hours averaging around 3 lbs each and really enjoyed my day and new guides

Thanks for the great report. This is what we are hearing from so many folks who have called us to tell us about their own MICRO guide experience. It is simple amazing.

BamaCoast, you are so right, these new micro guide rods are awesome . The Kistler group has done it again. The smoothness of each cast is just unreal. Must get a few more coming now.
