I would like to know if the new line of Kistler's will have the split grip on the spinning rod's also! I sure hope they do, if not I could live without!

Yes Sir,
Both the Helium 2 LTX and the Magnsium TS will have spinning rods with the split grip handle designs. We can also customize any of our Helium LTA or Graphite Plus rods as well.

Is the new Magnesium TS as light, lighter, or heavier than the Helium?

The Mg should be close to the weight of the Helium

You are absolutely correct about the weight being almost as light as the Helium LTA. The split grip will be the added bonus to this new rod.
