Fishing Rods

I was thinking about getting this rod to pair with a Daiwa Pixy to fish Shakey Head and Flick Shake rigs with. Does this model have a fast enough action to get a good hookset with these rigs, or does it have more of a parabolic action?

Hello Jake,
I throw a flick shake, drop shot and split shot a lot on the Kistler He66MC this rod has more back bone than the ML version you are looking at. The ML version is more parabolic as you thought correctly. I have SOL's on my Helium's and Pixy's on my He2's they are an unbeliveably light combo, very fun to fish, ultra sensitive.
