Fishing Rods

I caught two 'jig' Bass today with my new 7',6" EHC Helium. I pitched a 1/2oz Strike King Rattling Pro model jig matched with a Sweet Beaver trailor. I also rub Megastrike attractant on the entire bait.

When I take a pic(I fish alone), I put the Bass on a clip/stringer so she is comfortable(in the water) while I set up the ( - - blocked - - ) and tripod. This leaves a hole in the lower jaw's membrane and obviously, doesn't hurt the Bass. In fact, I have pics of a 6lb Bass I caught 3 different times !

That's a 6 lber that I caught for the second time. A few weeks later, I caught her for the third time. She's the only Bass I've ever caught in that particular pond(not the same one you've seen in my earlier pics). The first and third times, she sucked in a 5", #222 Senko and in that pic, the second, she bit a wacky-rigged Trick Worm.

SD: You are correct. That is an 'old' pic from about the summer of 2000, I think. I don't think the Heliums were available then and, if they were, I hadn't discovered them yet. I posted it because of your reply about catching the same Bass more than once.

I carry 8 rigs with me and 4 of them are my beloved Heliums. Slowly but surely, I'm converting all 8 to Heliums . Just give me a little more time. .

No way! No I didn't get the newsletter. Just by coincidence, I checked my Kistler logon/account info today and I thought I had signed up for the letter .

Now what you do is order another 7'6" Helium for your FREE rod and then send it to me to break it in for you...
