Kistler Mag TS 7'8" All Day Flippin Stick

Postby bassboy_21 » 6/8/09 7:46pm

Have any of you had any experience with these kinda rods, telescopic ones? Are they just as strong, durable, and reliable? Have you had any problems with them collapsing or anything like that while fishin? I would really like to have a flippin stick for my swimbaits, c rigs, and flippin/pitchin but I can't fit a +7'6" rod in the back of my dad's truck. What do yall think?

After 17 years in the rod business, I have yet to see a disadvantage to telescopic rods. They perform no different than a one piece when you really get down to it. The two are offered becase so many anglers have different needs and wants. The MgADFPH78T is a sweet do all rod. Have fun!

This rod can be used for so many things. It has become one of my favorite rods. You can pitch/flip with it all day. It has enough backbone, yet the tip allows you to pitch with ease.

When interviewing Scott Martin, he told me that he used it to crank a ledge in a tournament that he one a year or two ago. He was right, deep crankbaits cast a mile with this rod!
