Fishing Rods

I regret this story but here I go!!! Saturday I was out on a lake a couple hours north of me fishin for some smallies!! I hammered a couple and decided to move to another spot!!! This is where my trouble begins!! I asked my buddy to straped the two heliums I had on the front deck down so I could get the big motor started....the wind was blowing like crazy!! Anyway I didn't take notice that he straped them down just how I left them...rod tip facing the front of the boat!!! well I started down the lake and the next thing I know my heliums are flying off the front deck!!! I almost caught one but I was scooting along around 70...I just stopped the boat and almost got sick!!! The bummer is that they were my favorite spinnerbait rods...a Medium and Medium heavy...I was chuckin and whinedin!!! I also lost one new shimano and one about a year old...and my favorite HeavyCover spinnerbaits!!! Thanks for listening to my sad story...now it is time to move on and order a couple more!!!

Oh man, that's terrible ! Those spinning reels are too heavy to float.

Don't feel bad bro......I lost two brand new Kistlers last fall and one of them had a Shimano Stella spinning reel on it !!!! Clifford likes to keep me aware of this so I have to keep bringing it up.

I know the sick feeling you speak of.
