What rod is the best for texas rig worms and bitsy bug jigs? I throw brush hogs also. I was looking at the senko special but I don't know if I want 7ft and I thought the tip might be too light. Any suggestions? Kistler rocks.

I think the Senko rod would be ok for what you want to do.

What do you think about the Alton Jones football head rod?

That model is virtually the same rod but shorter. The AJFHJ rod is very multi purpose. You'll end up ordering more for many techniques.

MAGNESIUM ALTON JONES FOOTBALL HEAD

Postby NoCompetition » 5/8/09 10:28am

Hello,
I have had the AJFHJ rod for a couple of weeks and its awsome. The action is perfect, sensitivity is unbelievable and the price makes this a excellent buy. This is also a great rod for all soft plastic's along with jigs and senkos. Like Trey said you will end up ordering more, I know I will. Tight Lines.

Yes, you will order more. It's an addiction. I have 21 LTA's at last count, that are kept company by 1 Magnesium and 5 of the discontinued Graphite Plus Series. Simply put, Trey has designed the lightest, most sensitive and responsive rods on the market.

Magnesium series

Its my suspicion that some of the mpg gains from HHO generators might be due to the colloidal particles of iron and so forth that are introduced into the intake.

Wonder where youd find colloidal magnesium?
