why the backlog on new stock being available to vendors?

I wanted to add a new toad rod last week and the only two vendors I use and the web store are out. I had to go with another brand due to the short term need. I prefer to only use Kistler's. What's up?

There has been an overwhelming demand on all the Mg models this year. We could have never forecasted the increase especially in the economy we are in. Sorry you had to choose another brand. You migh want to consider the Argon rods which are just a little more money but a much better rod. Our stores should have plenty of stock over the next few weeks. Thanks,

We keep hearing doom and gloom, and how the economy is tanking, and those of us still gainfully employed are still buying gear.

I was just eyeing the 6'9" drop shot/ finesse Mg TS rod to add to my existing Kistler arsenal.

I can't seem to get enough gear, or at least the perfect combinations. I know I'm also not alone on this feeling.
