I am getting really sick of line twists. I posted about my bad expereince with Ray Scott super caster but I need something I can finesse fish with. Has anyone tried the HE66MLC? It's rated for weights down to 1/16 oz. I've used 1/8 oz lures with my HE69APC, but i have difficully casting 4 in worms on 1/8 sliders. I think the 1/8 oz slider is more like 1/16 oz. the HE69 APC just does not load well with the slider setup. Thinking about teaming the HE66MLC with a Shimano Scorpion. Trey, I'd appreciate if you can chime in on this post.
thanks,
mike

Hey,
I think i will stay with the spinning rig for truly lightweight finesse rigs. I've been using a Ray Scott Sportackle rod matched with a Pflueger President reel for Light slider heads and split shot rigs. I think I will be staying with that for now.

Just a Jr Gear Junkie for now. Gotta sell some stuff on Ebay so I can afford some more rods and reels. I've got a custom rod in mind: A helium (Don't know which one yet) with Titanium guides. I wander if Trey can accommodate... But that won't happen until 2005. Mount a Scorpion 1000 Mg, and that will be one sweet setup!
