Argon MH Spin vs. Mg MH Spin

Postby Seymour » 2/13/09 11:12am

I have and love both the 6'11" Argon MH spinning rod and the 6'10" Mg MH spinning rod. They are both MH, both 1/8 - 1/2, both 8-17 lb. line. But the Argon feels like it has a bit softer tip, not quite as stiff. Definitely not complaining... just curious as to why? Were they intentionally designed differently? Or is just a difference in the graphite material?

The Argon is made with the Intelamatrix materials which allow for a faster tip, more sensitive and lighter weight. It still has the power you want with the higher performance tip action. Enjoy!
