Spiral wrap

Postby Slide_R » 2/28/05 6:20pm

Intresting concept. I have read a lot of debate over the benefits of the spiral wrap to alleviate the twisting of the blank under a load. It might be just the ticket for those chasing bull reds on the coast or Muskie up north. I have not had much of an issue with it on my normal Bass fishing adventures.

Two drawbacks for me:

Hard to get in and out of a rod box/rod tube.

I guess I am a conventional guy as it bothers my sensibilities to see the crooked guides.
God Bless,
