What will the difference be in sensitivity and action between a he76hc and the telescopic version he76thc? Any other differences beside storability?

Most folks believe that a one piece transmits vibration better and that there might be less issues arise from the 2pc joint. It is a personal choice and if put to research and testing, there would most likely be little difference in our opinion.

It really does come down to preference.

Storability is a big factor of course, but I've noticed little difference between the two rods having fished extensively with both.

You won't have any issues with a telescopic - in fact, most of the tournament guys I know tend to prefer the telescopic for whatever reason.

If the rod never leaves your boat and you have room for the one piece in your rod locker go with the one piece.
