6'9 MH Graphite

Postby cwen » 1/15/05 1:11pm

Hello all. I know some of you from the BPS forum. I am thinking of getting a 6'9 MH graphite rod from Kistler. I am going to use it for big cranks and heavy jerkbaits. Is this a good rod for these applications? I don't know much about the rods except they seem to have a good reputation. I am also debating a 7ft Heavy helium in the spring, Any thoughts on these rods?

Thanks,
Chris

Welcome to Kistler's forums Chris! IMO, I'd get at least one Helium 7' Medium Caster. I'd get it before I got the Heavy but that's just me  . I have a Heavy but the Medium is my favorite Helium.

Cwen I use the KCBCM7 for medium and deep cranks also for jerkbaits. It is a composite/graphite blend that I find fishes all my crankbaits better than any other crankbait rod I have owned. Oh yeah, I concur with Dan.....getcha a Helium as well...  Specifically the HE69APC or the HE70MC. 8)
