I use my Helium 7' MH when throwing carolina rigs and it works well for me. The tip is soft and allows me to sling the soft plastic and weight easily. I don't fish extremely heavy grass when c rigging. I prefer to fish the outside weedline or sparse grass so the MH works for me.

I love to use a carolina rig and my choice of rod is the Helium LTA 7'6 Heavy. I own two of them and they are great. The extra length allows for longer casting and it also moves more line on the hookset. This rod has the perfect action with a little tip and plenty of backbone. The 7'6 is also my choice for pitching and flipping, as it will haul out the big bass out of the thickest of cover. It's a great rod that can serve double duty on the carolina rig or flipping in the bushes and I would highly recommend it.
