I have decided!

After reading just about every post, I have decided! I have ( - - blocked - - ) to the conclusion that the best all around rod for my application's is going to be the HE69APC, with all the reviews this rod has been givin I think It's a no brainer. This forum has to be one of the best when it comes to customer feedback! It's just great to see you guy's really enjoying your Kistler's. I had posted over in the Graphite plus forum on what rod would compare to the HE69APC, and I got some great response's, being on a budget I was going to go for the KWWS69, Phippy had told me this would probably be the closest rod to the HE69APC, but after thinking it over I figured the HE69APC will go further in the long run,...ooops! :) there goes the budget, It's just so versatile. After reading through some of the post's, especially the ones from Ezcue I was truly sold on the versatility of this rod, he's using it for worms, tubes, jigs,sb's you name it he's using it. This will be my first Kistler, but not my last! I plan on buying a couple of more in the very near future, my arsenal will include the KCBCM7, and KDSS69 both from the Graphite Plus line, these rod's have gotten some great reviews on TT. These rod's may not be Heliums but for the money they can't be beat!
    Thx

LOL, thanks JR....I use it for everything because it is my favorite rig. I have 3 other Heliums and they are all great, I just find myself reaching for the 69APC and Daiwa Alpha more and more.

watch out for that Ezcue guy.. he'll have you buying all kinds of stuff if you don't watch out... lol

And watch out for this guy, that is just a diversionary tactic...he is the one that will have your pocket book smoking but man will you have some top notch equipment!!!

One other thing, your second Helium will probably be a HE70MC, it was my second and between that one and the 69 there just isn't a lot you can't do chasing mr. bucketmouth. I am glad that my reviews/comments helped you make your decision. Guys on this forum like Cal a.k.a Sdesign and LR walked me through my first Helium purchase and I really appreciate being able to further the "cause".

The KCBCM7 is the best crankin stick I have ever used anything deeper than 8' on the dive goes on the 7....shallow stuff down to 8' I run on the KCBCM66, that is a workhorse rod as well, Sammy 65's, Pop-R's, ( - - blocked - - ) Torpedos, Manns 1-minus, 1/4oz Traps, Jointed Rapalas, DT-4's, lol the list goes on and on. Let us know what ya think of boh rods. I think they are excellent choices for ya. 8) Welcome to the family. 8)

JR nobody can actually tell what is best for you only give you feed back and suggestions. I'm sure you would love the Helium and I'm not sure of your fishing background whether your a tournament, ex-tournament(myself) or a highly motivated week/weekend fisherman. But you suggested money is a factor think about owning 2 Graphite series rods for about $30 more for only 1 Helium. I know Kistler put alot of effort into the Helium series are they are sweet no doubt but the Graphite series in prolly the best bang for the buck I've seen in quite sometime.

Not trying to pursway ya just givin my opinion. I for one have the 7' Crankbait Composite and actually enjoy that rod more than the Helium. Man am I a flake or what.
