7' garphite plus crankbait composite

Postby crazychris » 12/8/08 11:36am

hy guys! a friend of mine just returned fron the states and he brought back a couple of graphite plus rods( the 2004 model). i want to buy the crankbait composite from him. i already own the magnesium 7' composite crankin' rod and i think it's a good rod but it's not as slim as i would want it to be. is the graphite plus slimmer than the magnesium rod? i know it has a nice soft tip and that's just great for me as i use small to medium cranks, but i really would like a slimmer rod.

The Graphite Plus 7' (Medium) crankbait rod is great. The rod is thinner than the MagTS crankbait rods. The tip is awesome. This is by far my favorite rod for throwing 100-200 series Bandits.

Hope this helps....it's definately a good rod to grab on to.

This is the model number of the rod I have. I bought mine about two years ago so I cannot be a hundred percent certain the blanks are the same. Hopefully Trey or Clifford sees this and can answer your question. If the 2004 model is the same one I have (from two years ago), it is a great rod and is not as wide as the MagTS crankbait models.

Good Luck.

i just got my cranking rod today and man it looks really nice. the real seat sits firmly on my reel and the guides and wraping is quite good..i like this rod better than my lta fliping stick, the real seat is way better , although the guides are nicer on the lta. all in all a very nice stick and it's a real shame they don't make them any more. God bless!

I told ya you would not be disappointed. Glad everything worked out and I agree that it is a shame the Graphite Plus rods are being discontinued.
