Is this bait an all year or seasonal bait?

Best choice of a rod to use?

Any and all suggestions for use or techniques welcome. I have never used this bait but it sounds interesting.

Coach,

Follow this link for a great article on soft plastic stickbaits,

As far as what rod, I use the HE2mhc69, works great for casting & skipping under docks.

YUM Dinger

Postby alton4bass » 11/10/08 11:33pm

Yes, the YUM Dinger is definitely a bait for all seasons, but it really shines in the spring. My favorite way to fish the bait is weightless, rigged Texas style. Be sure to make long casts and you can expect most of your strikes to come as the bait slowly falls to the bottom, or shortly thereafter.

As for the best rod to use try my new 6'-10" Alton Jones signature series Football Head jig rod. It is the perfect action for YUM dingers too!

Thanks, Alton Jones, 2008 Bassmaster Classic Champion

Mr Jones,

I was unable to fine the 6'10" signature rod you recommended. Will it be a new one for 2009?

All three of Alton's signature rods will be available in December. Just give us a call or check the web site for them next month.
